More than 1,000 schools across the south-west of the state have been cancelled since Christmas.
The State Government has announced it is going to scrap some high schools, including St Albans High School, Mount Pleasant, Tuggeranong, Mount Gravatt, Eastlake, Newmarket, and Eastwood.
Some of the affected schools include:Newcastle High SchoolEastwood High SchoolTuggeron High SchoolMount Gravatt High SchoolSt Albans Middle SchoolEastlake High SchoolCronulla High SchoolNewmarket High SchoolBrisbane High SchoolSydney High SchoolHobart High SchoolMorningside High SchoolGlenelg High SchoolEureka High SchoolWestfield High SchoolAll of the schools will be shut down for at least two weeks.
The Government has also announced a further 20 schools will have to be closed.
The number of cancelled high schools will now be reduced to 15, but the number of students at those schools will remain the same.
